Voritrol 200 mg drug contains Voriconazole as the main active ingredient. It belongs to a class of anti-fungal medication. This drug is highly prescribed by doctors for the treatment of fungal infections and is effective in patients with low immunity. Some of the various kinds of fungal infections which can be prevented and cured by using this medication are candidiasis and aspergillosis. Candidiasis is associated with symptoms such as pale patches on the face. Aspergillosis is associated with lung disorders that can spread to various organs through the bloodstream.
The recommended dose of this drug for adults is 200 mg every 12 hours at a regular interval of time. The dose should be adjusted per the patient's response to the drug under the supervision of your doctor. Report to your doctor after a regular time interval of 3 to 4 weeks. Voriconazole is available in the form of a tablet, and this makes it easier to be consumed orally with a sufficient amount of water. Completely swallow this medicine with water. Do not chew it.
Voritrol and many medicines can interact; some should not be used together. Other medicines may require dose adjustment when taken with Voriconazole. It is important to know about all the medicines that you are taking. Tell your doctor about all the medicines, including prescription, non-prescription, vitamins and herbal supplements. Do not take any new medicine without speaking to your doctor. Â
Avoid night driving because Voritrol may cause vision problems like blurry vision. You should not drive if you experience changes in your eyesight. Avoid sunlight. Your skin may burn more easily. You can hurt your eyes in bright sunlight.
Common side effects with Voritrol 200 include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, chills, fever, eyesight changes, stomach pains, infection in your blood, breathing problems, and swelling in your arms and legs. Â

   — Eyesight changes include blurred vision, colour vision change, and sensitivity to light while taking Voriconazole.

   — Liver problems
