Valcoveer 1000 mg is generic for Valtrex having the active ingredient Valacyclovir, which belongs to a class of medications known as antivirals. It kills or stops the growth of herpes simplex, varicella zoster, and cytomegalovirus. You can buy Valacyclovir 1000mg to treat the following viral infections:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor prescribes. The dose you should take usually depends on the type and severity of the infection. Take the medicine orally, and swallow the tablet with a glass of water.Â
For the treatment of shingles, the recommended dose is 1000mg. You may be asked to continue taking the medicine for seven days.Â
For cold sores, the recommended dose is two 1000 mg tablets twice a day. The second dose should be taken twelve hours after the first dose. The antiviral medicine should only be taken for one day (two doses).
The suggested dose is two Valcoveer 1000 mg tablets to stop you from contracting CMV. You need to take each tablet after six hours. You may be advised to take Valacyclovir medicine for around 90 days after surgery until your healthcare provider tells you to stop.
Dose adjustment is required if are over 65 years of age, have a weak immune system, or have kidney problems.
Do not take Valacyclovir 1000 mg if you are allergic to Valacyclovir or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. You must not take this antiviral drug if this applies to you. Also, do not take this medicine if you have ever developed a rash that stays longer and is associated with fever and enlarged lymph nodes after taking the medicine.
