Triolmezest 5/12.5/40 mg is a prescription treatment for patients suffering from high blood pressure and heart complications. It contains Amlodipine, Olmesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, which helps lower high blood pressure, thus reducing the chance of future complications such as heart attack and stroke. The triple combination therapy allows the heart to work less forcibly. It relaxes the blood vessel so that your body organs get sufficient blood and oxygen to function. The medicine is generally combined with a proper diet and exercise programme to control high blood pressure.
Your doctor may ask you to take Triolmezest before or after consuming food. The dose of the anti-hypertensive drug depends on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Since Triolmezest contains hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that will make your kidney make more urine, it is best to avoid taking medicine within a few hours of going to bed.

Consumption of alcohol is prohibited during this blood pressure treatment. Avoid grapefruit juice as it may cause side effects.Â
The most common side effects of Triolmezest 5/12.5/40 mg include dizziness, headache, tiredness, swelling, and taste change. Talk to your doctor right away if any of these bother you, or get worse, or do not resolve within a few days of the treatment. Drink plenty of fluids during the entire treatment. This helps to overcome muscle weakness, extreme thirst and dry mouth problems.
