Tiova Rotacaps are an anticholinergic drug that clears the nostrils and lungs, thus help reducing inflammation and dilate the constricted bronchioles. The medicine is prescribed for treating and preventing bronchospasm associated with reversible COPD, acute asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and chronic bronchitis. Tiova Rotacaps, an inhalation powder, is not meant to be swallowed orally. The medicine is intended to be inhaled with the help of a Rotahaler. Rinse your mouth after using it to avoid conditions such as throat irritation or dry mouth. Once you open the Rotahaler capsule, hold it in a horizontal position. Keep the white spot up and lighter coloured end in the opposite direction. Press the button once to release the powder when you breathe in. Ensure you take a deep breath and hold your breath for up to ten seconds. Then start breathing normally and throw away the empty capsule shell. Once again, reorganize the Rotahaler to repeat the procedure.
The medication should be avoided if you have the following problems:
