Syndopa 10 100 mg improves signs of Parkinson’s disease and syndrome. Parkinson’s disease is a progressive, neurodegenerative disorder of the extrapyramidal nervous system affecting the movement and control of the muscles. The long-term disease makes you slow and steady, your muscles feel stiff, and you may develop tremor (shaking or trembling). The anti-parkinsonian drug contains two different medications Levodopa and Carbidopa. Levodopa turns into chemical dopamine in your brain. The chemical substance helps to improve the signs of your parkinson’s disease. Carbidopa belongs to a class of medications known as aromatic amino acid decarboxylase inhibitors, which effectively slow the speed at which Levodopa is broken down in your body.
Always take Syndopa 10 100 mg exactly as your doctor has told you. You should speak to your doctor if you are not sure about the correct dosing regimen. The anti-parkinsonian drug is available in the form of tablets. Although your medicine can affect after one day of its consumption, it may take up to a week. Follow your doctor’s instructions when it comes to taking medicine. Do not make any changes in your dosing regimen without discussing it with your doctor, and avoid taking the tablet with a heavy meal. The anti-parkinsonian drug is not suitable for children under the age of 18 years. Do not stop the treatment without talking to your doctor.
Do not take Syndopa 10 100 mg if you are hypersensitive to Carbidopa or Levodopa or any of the inactive ingredients of the medicine. You should not use this anti-parkinsonian drug if you have ever had skin cancer or have unusual moles that your doctor has not yet examined. Avoid the use of certain drugs during the anti-parkinsonian treatment. These include monoamine Oxidase inhibitors or MAOIs used for depression. Your doctor may ask you to stop taking these medicines at least 14 days before you begin Syndopa. Also, avoid using this combination anti-parkinsonian drug if you have narrow-angle glaucoma or a severe mental disorder. Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Take special care with Syndopa use if you have a history of fits, ulcer in your gut, kidney impairment, liver disorder, depression, heart problems, or chronic wide-angle glaucoma. If you are not sure whether you have any of these conditions or not, please talk to your doctor. Let your doctor know if you or your loved ones notice you develop addiction-like symptoms leading to cravings for large doses of medicines to treat Parkinson’s disease. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicine, including medicines you obtained without a prescription. These include vitamins and herbal supplements. Tell your doctor especially about Medicines for Parkinosn’s disease containing Levodopa, medicines for mental problems, convulsions, impotence in men, MAOIs, and anticholinergic medicines.
The most common side effects are nausea and abnormal movements ( twitching or spasms).
