Sifasip-HP 10000 i.u is a medicine used to cause women to ovulate; it treats infertility in women. If you trouble conceiving, your doctor may prescribe an HCG injection combined with other drugs to boost fertility in women. It helps the egg in woman’s ovary to develop normally. It causes the stimulation of an egg during ovulation. HCG can also be given to pituitary gland disorder in young boys, increases sperm count in men, and undeveloped sexual traits in girls.
HCG is a hormone produced early in pregnancy by the placental cells. It helps maintain high levels of progesterone, which is crucial for a successful pregnancy. HCG is quite similar in structure to luteinizing hormone (LH); when there is a mature egg follicle in the ovary, injecting an HCG shot can cause the egg to mature and be released. An HCG shot will cause ovulation approximately 36 hours after you take it. This gives your doctor to better time intrauterine insemination or egg retrieval. HCG stimulates the ovaries to produce progesterone and promotes ovulation in women of childbearing age.
Use HCG under the guidance of a doctor. Do not start a new treatment without your doctor’s concern. Do not use it in a larger amount or for longer than the recommended amount. Your doctor will tell you about this injection. Do not self-inject this medicine if you do not fully understand how to give the injection under the skin or into a muscle. Your doctor will administer the correct dose of HCG that suits you. It is important to dispose off the used needles and syringes properly. You need regular monitoring to ensure the medication is helping your condition.
There may be other medications that can interact with HCG. Let your doctor know of all the medications, including those you obtain without prescription or herbal supplements. These also include vitamins, minerals, and medications prescribed by other doctors. Before using HCG injection, tell your doctor if you are suffering from heart disease, had an ovarian cyst, or had thyroid gland disorder. Your doctor should be aware of all the medications you have been using, as many of these can become less effective due to HCG effects, or HCG may affect the working mechanism of your other drugs.
Stop using HCG and get emergency and get immediate medical help if you develop signs of an allergic reaction, including hives and trouble breathing due to swelling of the tongue, throat, lips, and face. Call your doctor straight away if you have signs of a blood clot, including redness, numbness, warmth, pain, numbness, extreme dizziness, severe headache, or tingling in your arm and leg. Some women receiving Sifasi may develop a condition called OHSS (ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome), especially after receiving the first HCG shot. OHSS can be life-threatening, so call your doctor straight away you develop symptoms of OHSS. The symptoms include shortness of breath, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, severe pelvic pain, stomach pain, swelling, weight gain, weight gain, swelling of the hands and legs, or urinating less than normal.
