Ovidac 5000 i.u is useful in treating infertility in women. It is also effective as a treatment for males with delayed puberty and low sperm count. It contains HCG or human chorionic gonadotropin, which helps release an egg from the ovary in women and increases the testosterone level in men. Ovidac is an injection that directly injected into a muscle. If you are allergic to HCG, you should avoid using the drug if you are pregnant, have early puberty or hormone-related cancer.

Your doctor will give you the first injection of HCG. He/she will show you how to inject this medicine at home if you require many injections or if you need to inject at a time when your clinic is closed. You should only inject HCG yourself if you are sure of doing it so.
Wash your hands well with soap and water. Dry your hands with a clean towel and wipe down your chose site for injection. You can use a sterile alcohol wipe and allow it to dry before injecting the drug. Make sure the syringe you are using does not have air on top when you hold the needle. You can clear the bubble by pushing the plunger down. HCG comes in pre-filled syringes or a mixture that you make an exact dose. So, there is no need to measure. Stretch the skin over your injection site Hold 1 to 2 inch of your skin gently with one hand and stick the needle into your skin to enter the subcutaneous layer of fat above your muscle. Slowly emptying the needle, pushing the plunger down. Keep the needle in the same position for around ten seconds. And keep holding the skin as you pull out the needle. Make sure you do it slowly. Avoid touching or rubbing the injection site.
Before starting Ovidac 5000 i.u. inform your doctor if you have thyroid or adrenal gland disorder, an ovarian cyst, undiagnosed uterine bleeding, kidney disorder, heart disease, migraines, asthma, epilepsy, or premature puberty. Tell your doctor if you have cancer or tumour cells, ovaries, breasts, hypothalamus, prostate, or pituitary glands. Let your doctor know of all the medications you have been using when visiting your doctor for an HCG prescription. Pay attention to the usage instructions your doctor gives you. Each time you handle an HCG shot, rinse your hands and choose to use a clean syringe to use.
Side effects of Ovidac 5000 i.u injection include abdominal pain, weight gain, nausea, shortness of breath, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, weight gain, abdominal pain, severe pelvic pain, urinating less than normal, swelling of hands and legs. Less serious side effects include depression, irritability, headache, feeling restless, depression, water weight gain, and mild pain on the injection site.
