Megalis 10 mg contains Tadalafil, a group of drugs known as phosphodiesterase Type 5 inhibitors. It is a prescription medicine for adult men with erectile dysfunction in men. This ED medication significantly improves the ability to obtain a hard erect penis. It helps the blood vessels in the penis to relax, allowing enough blood to flow to the penis.
ED is defined as the persistent inability to attain or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory intercourse. Sexual dysfunction is complex and is associated with many factors, including metabolic disorders, endocrine disorders, psychogenic issues, or surgery of the pelvis, apart from treating the diseases that cause ED. PDE5 inhibitors have been widely used as the first-line treatment for ED. PDE5 caused smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow, which results in penile erection.
Take Megalis 10 mg in the dose and frequency prescribed by your urologist. The medicine is available in the form of a pill you may take before or after consuming food. The medicine is commonly used as an on-demand treatment regimen because of its short duration of efficacy. However, the drug is unique among other PDE5 inhibitors that have demonstrated efficacy up to 36 hours. The effectiveness of Tadalafil is not affected by the intake of food. Thus, the drug must be taken once a day to provide continuous efficacy, allowing patients to engage in sexual intercourse at any time, eliminating the need to take the medication before intercourse.
Megalis 10 mg is not recommended for women, children, and adolescents under 18 years. Men should avoid this medicine to treat erection issues without speaking to their doctor. It can be dangerous to take it along
The medicine has been well-tolerated in ED patients. Do not take this ED medication if you have severe heart or liver problems, have recently had a stroke or heart attack, or have low blood pressure. You should inform your doctor if you suffer from any of these medical conditions. You should not drive if you have dizziness associated with Tadalafil. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking medication as it can cause side effects.
The erectile dysfunction drug is generally safe to use during pregnancy. The medicine can cause side effects to the developing baby; however, there is limited evidence showing side effects on developing babies.
The common side effects of Megalis 10 mg are headache, muscle pain, and rash. Do not take this ED medication if you have low blood pressure, liver, or heart problems. Do not take this Tadalafil formulation if you have severe heart problems, liver impairment, or low blood pressure. Do not drive or drink alcohol while taking Megalis 10 mg as it may cause dizziness. The medicine's serious side effects include chest pain, priapism, sudden loss of vision, or allergic reactions like rashes. Rarely, a patient experience seizure, memory loss, decrease or loss of hearing, blood in semen, increased sweating, penile bleeding, red eyes, swelling of the eyelids, and hives.
