Mederma cream 20 gm is clinically shown to reduce the appearance of scars. It effectively treats many types of scars, including surgery scars, acne scars, and scars from burns, cuts, and other injuries. You can use this gel preparation as soon as new skin has formed, typically two or more weeks after the injury or surgery. Make sure the stitches have been removed. On older scars, you may begin using the gel immediately.
Mederma is a gel to be applied topically on the skin surface. Apply enough gel to cover an infected skin area and rub it well. For better results, wash and clean the affected area with soap and water before applying this gel.
Use this gel preparation as directed by your dermatologist. Apply the gel 3 to 4 times daily and get maximum results in ten weeks. Results may take time, so don’t disappoint if you do not see results immediately. On regular usage, you may see noticeable improvement after about four weeks of daily usage, with optimum improvement in eight weeks.
