Generic Name | Liothyronine |
Manufacturer | Acme Generics Pvt. Ltd |
Linorma T3 20 mcg treats low thyroid levels, also known as hypothyroidism. It works by replacing thyroxine, the thyroid hormone that is naturally produced in the body. The thyroid hormone plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health. They help assist metabolism and energy levels.
Linorma contains the active ingredient Liothyronine, which works by restoring the balance of thyroid hormones in the body. It is like the thyroxine hormone, which your body produces naturally. Liothyronine treats hypothyroidism's symptoms, including muscle aches, constipation, weight gain, tiredness, slow heartbeat, or sensitivity to colds. Â Â Â Â
Before you start taking Linorma T3, read the prescription carefully. It will give you more information about the medicine. Take medicine exactly as your doctor tells you to. Usually, doctors recommend the lowest dose when you begin using Linorma, and your dosage may gradually be increased if needed. Take the tablets with water. Patients may take them either before meals. Continue to take medicine until your doctor advises you to stop.
If you have diabetes, you may need to have a close eye n your blood sugar levels and check them more frequently, as these tablets can affect blood sugar levels in your blood. Your doctor will advise you about this situation. Do not take more than the prescribed dose.
Some medicines are unsuitable for people with certain conditions; sometimes, a medicinal product should only be used if extra care is taken. Before you begin taking Liothyronine, your doctor must know the following:
Â
 — If you have ever had an allergic reaction to a medicine
 — If you have diabetes or diabetes insipidus
 — If you have high blood pressure, heart, or blood vessel disease.
 — If you are taking any other medication. This includes any medicines you are taking which are available to buy without a prescription (such as herbal supplements and vitamins).
Â
Medications that can increase the absorption of Liothyronine include antacids, products containing magnesium and aluminium, calcium supplements, sevelamer, simethicone, bile acid-binding resins, and sodium polystyrene sulfonate, among others. If a patient takes any of these medications, take them at least four hours before or after taking Linorma T3. If you take Lanthanum, take it at least two hours before or after Liothyronine.Â
Patients are instructed to notify their doctor if they experience chest pain, rapid or irregular heartbeat, headache, irritability, leg cramps, shortness of breath, weight gain, loss of appetite, headache, cramps, heat intolerance, sleeplessness, change in appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea, hives, skin rash, changes in menstrual periods, tremors, leg cramps, nervousness, and any other unusual medical event.
Partial hair loss may occur during the initial few months of Linorma T3 20 mcg, and the side effect is usually temporary. If you experience any side effects that bother you or become troublesome, speak with your doctor; your dose may need an adjustment.
