Kojic cream 25 gm is a skin-lightening cream that helps reduce and lighten the brown/black spots on the face. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antiproliferative properties, improving skin’s appearance by making it lighter and reducing pigmentation.
Kojic cream contains Kojic acid and other ingredients that hydrate and restore skin’s elasticity, making your skin soft and supple. It protects the skin against the visible symptoms of sun damage. The cream also reduces melanin production in the deeper layers of the skin. The product is best suited for ageing skin.
Before using Kojic cream, wash the affected area properly with cold water. Gently pat dry the affected area with a dry cloth or towel. Use Kojic cream on the affected area (face and neck) twice daily. Keep applying for the medicine per the schedule and give it at least two weeks for any results. The medicine should be taken for as long as the dermatologist has recommended.
Always consult your dermatologist before stopping taking the drug or changing the dosage. Depending on the severity of the skin problem, you can squeeze a small amount of this cream onto your fingertips and evenly apply a thin film to the affected area. Gently mix it till the ointment is completely absorbed into the skin. Wash your hands after using this cream. After application of the cream, apply sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. Spending time in the sun may increase the risk of acne and hyperpigmentation. To control this, it is recommended to apply a sunscreen of SPF 50. Kojic cream can be applied with any other cream.
The product is recommended for twice-daily application. You should always apply only a sufficient quantity of cream to the affected area. Applying more than the required amount has not been reported to have better results. More than the required dose of any drug can cause severe effects. It may cause some hypersensitive symptoms. In the case of an accidental overdose, you should necessarily consult your doctor.
Kojic cream generally won’t cause any adverse effects. Please check with your dermatologist if you develop any application sites reaction such as skin reddening, rash, or other allergic reactions.
