Ivermerc Ivermectin 12mg is a popular medicine used to treat certain parasitic roundworm infections and scabies. This medicine belongs to the group of medicines called antiparasitic drugs, also known as anthelmintics. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Ivermectin in tablet form to treat intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis (river blindness). Ivermectin works by weakening and killing the infection-causing organisms to treat parasitic roundworm infections. This medicine can slow down the multiplication rate of the causative organisms; thereby, it can accelerate the healing process after infection. It has FDA-approved antiparasitic properties that work as an inhibitor replication.
Ivermectin tablets are available in 6, 8, 12, 18 and 24 mg doses. This prescription drug can be taken orally. Ivermerc Ivermectin tablet is taken on an empty stomach at least one hour before a meal. Usually, medication lasts till the complete treatment of the condition and doses are prescribed based on your condition. It is not recommended for children and adolescents. Take this medication as advised by your doctor, and do not alter the dose without consulting your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Ivermectol or other antiparasitic medications. It is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless recommended by a doctor. Inform your doctor if you are previously diagnosed with meningitis or taking HIV medication.
