Ivermectol 12 mg treats many parasitic infections of your intestinal tract and eyes. It contains the active ingredient Ivermectin, paralyzing and ultimately killing the parasites responsible for causing the infection. It is approved for use in humans to treat strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis. The medicine belongs to a class of drugs known as ectoparasiticides, which effectively treat parasitic infections such as river blindness (Onchoccccerciasis) and certain types of diarrhoea (Strongyloidiasis). The anti-parasitic agent is available in tablet form to cure roundworm infection and second-line treatment for scabies. A topical formulation of Ivermectin is required to treat scabies.
