Ivecop 12 mg
Ivecop 12 mg is prescribed to treat various parasitic infections of the skin, hair, threadworm infections, pinworms infections, whipworm infections, parasitic filarial worm infection and other condition. The medicine belongs to a certain group of medication known as anthelmintic, which works by destroying the parasite by paralyzing it.
Dosage Instructions of Ivecop 12 mg
Your doctor determines the dosage of Ivecop after evaluating your medical history and current physical status. In case of suspected overdose, seek immediate medical attention. The medicine stays in the bloodstream for an average duration of 2 to 3 days.
Side Effects
The common adverse effects that may be experienced while using Ivecop or Stromectol 6 mg tablet are bloating, tiredness, lightheadedness, constipation, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, headache, reduced appetite, and shakiness. If you are taking Ivermectin preparation for treating river blindness, you may have certain reactions for the first few days such as itchiness, swollen lymph, fever, eye redness, or swollen eyes. However, if these allergic reactions continue to persist or trouble you for a long duration, notify your doctor.
The Contraindications
Ivecop is not advised to use in children below five years of age or children who weigh less than 15 kg (33 pounds). Its use is not recommended in women with the hepatic or renal disease. Also, Ivecop 12 mg tablet is not suitable for breastfeeding women.
