Gabapin 400 mg is indicated in the following conditions:
— Pain from damaged nerves that follows healing of shingles (a painful rash that comes after a herpes zoster infection in adults.
— Partial seizures, when used with other medicine in adults and children three years of age and older with seizures.
Gabapin belongs to a group of antiepileptic drugs that are believed to prevent and treat seizures or convulsions by controlling abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
You may take the capsules before or after consuming food. Follow your doctor's advice carefully. Do not exceed the recommended dose. He will suggest how many tablets of Gabapin to take. He may recommend a higher or lower dose depending on how you respond to the treatment. This will help you achieve the best results and reduce the risk of side effects.
