Foracort Rotacaps 200mcg 6 mcg combines Budesonide and Formoterol as the two active constituents that act on the airways and helps in reducing inflammation and dilates the constricted bronchioles. This all leads to the dilation of the narrowed bronchioles. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of bronchospasm associated with reversible COPD, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. It is available in a rotahaler dosage form. In this, the dry fine powdered drug is present in a capsule known as Rotacaps. They release the drug directly at the site of action. They produce rapid and fast relief action within five to twenty minutes of dosing. Rotacaps have measured amount of drug when inhaled produces the effect.
