Amoxicillin and Clavulanate potassium are the main active pharmaceutical ingredient present in Clavam Dry Syrup 30 ml Syrup Bottle. The drug combination comprises an antibiotic amoxicillin and β- lactamase inhibitor.
Clavam Dry Syrup is known for treating various types of bacterial infections such as typhoid, bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, bacterial infections of the nose, infections after surgery, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, and infections of the ear, throat, skin, or urinary tract. It stops the production of the bacterial cell wall and inhibits the activity of beta-lactamase chemical that results in the death of the bacteria and thus cures the infection.
The dosage varies per the patient's condition; this medicine must be taken exactly as your doctor asked you to. Usually, it is recommended to take this medicine after having a meal.
