Caverta 100 mg is used to treat erectile dysfunction or impotence and pulmonary hypertension. Erectile dysfunction or ED is a sexual dysfunction in which there is a lack of strength to achieve and maintain an erection hard enough for satisfactory intercourse. This drug causes the muscles to relax and improves the blood flow by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for blocking the blood vessel. Thus, it widens the blood vessels to allow the free flow of blood to the penis during sexual arousal. Sildenafil is the main active pharmaceutical ingredient present in Caverta pills. It is a phosphodiesterase-5 enzyme inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction or impotence.
Take the pill as per your doctor’s recommendation. Always take Caverta pills the same way as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor if you are not sure how and when to take it. In general, a man should not take sildenafil pills more than once a day. One should take the pill an hour before indulging in sexual activity. Swallow it with a glass of water. This drug is not suitable for those patients having an eye disorder such as Retinitis Pigmentosa. Do not drive or use any machinery because using these Tablets may have a minor or moderate effect on your ability to drive and use machines. They may cause dizziness, so avoid driving and the use of machines while taking this drug. Avoid alcohol while taking this drug. If the patient has any heart disease, including heart failure in the past six months, then consult your doctor and let him know about your medical history before taking this medicament.
