Seroflo inhaler combines the inhaled corticosteroid, fluticasone propionate, and the long-acting beta-agonist (LABA) medicine salmeterol. An inhaled corticosteroid medicine such as fluticasone help to decrease inflammation in the lungs. Salmeterol, a LABA medicine, cause the muscles around the airways in your lungs to stay relaxed to prevent symptoms such as cough, wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. These symptoms can occur when the muscles around the airways tighten, thus making it harder to breathe. Â
Seroflo inhaler is a prescription treatment that prevents asthma and chronic obstructive disease. Asthma is a chronic respiratory condition in which airway passage gets narrow, leading to difficulty breathing. The chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder is a group of lung disorders that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs. Â Â
When your asthma is controlled, your doctor will tell you to stop the medication. Your doctor will decide if you can stop the inhaler drug with loss of asthma control.
Do not use Seroflo inhaler 25 mcg 125 mcg (120 mdi) unless your doctor has prescribed you how to use the inhaler and you understand how to use it correctly. Use it exactly as your doctor has instructed you.
Use two inhalations of Seroflo inhaler two times each day. For appropriate dosage, please consult your doctor. Do not stop using the inhaler drug even if you feel better or think your symptoms have improved unless your doctor tells you to. Talk to your doctor if you stop using the medicine.
Seroflo inhaler does not relieve sudden symptoms. You will need a rescue inhaler to treat sudden symptoms. If you do not have a rescue inhaler, talk to your doctor to have one prescribed for you.
Call your doctor to get immediate medical help if:
  — Your breathing issue gets worse
  — Your rescue inhaler does not work to relieve your asthma symptoms.
  — Your asthma symptoms do not improve after using the symptoms regularly for one week. Â
Do not use Seroflo inhaler if you are allergic to Fluticasone propionate, salmeterol or any of the ingredients of the medicine. Tell your doctor about all the health conditions, including if you have any of the following conditions:
  — Heart problems
  — High blood pressure
  — Diabetes
  — Liver problems
  — Seizures
  — An immune system problem
  — Weak bones
  — Eye problems such as glaucoma and cataracts
  — Any other medical conditions

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, sore throat, hoarseness, cough, fungal infections in the mouth, musculoskeletal pain (muscle, bone, or joint), and increased heart rate. If you get any of them, do not discontinue treatment unless your doctor advises. You can help prevent some of these symptoms by rinsing your mouth and throat with water or brushing your teeth after using the inhaler.
