Angispan TR 6.5 mg contains the active ingredient nitroglycerin. The principal pharmacological action of the active constituent is the relaxation of vascular smooth muscle. Doctors prescribe it for the acute relief of an attack or acute prophylaxis of angina pectoris due to coronary artery disease. Angina is a type of chest pain that usually happens due to narrowing blood vessels that supply blood to your heart. This causes an insufficient supply of oxygen to your heart. Agispan TR works to relax the muscles and blood vessels in your heart, so more blood flows to your heart. This reduces the symptoms of angina pectoris. Angispan TR is contraindicated in patients with early myocardial infarction, increased intracranial pressure, severe anaemia, and those with a known hypersensitivity to nitroglycerin or other nitrite or nitrates.
The most reported side effect of Angispan TR 6.5 mg is a headache that may be severe. You may get rid of the side effect by drinking plenty of fluids and avoiding alcohol. You may also experience lightheadedness, which may make you more likely to fall.
